Austin Sr.taught school and was postmaster at Twiggtown

Dave & Joan live in Tuscarora, MD with their 4 dogs and 2 cats. Dave retired from Fort Detrick  in 2008 and along with his wife Joan created a non-profit dedicated to helping wounded warriors. Joan is a certified Kripalu Yoga instructor and has served as a volunteer at Walter Reed Army Medical Center teaching meditation.
